oatmeal tart with apples and nuts

Got 20 minutes and a taste for something healthy but filling? Try to make this oatmeal tart and you will have a snack for now and a breakfast ready for tomorrow:) Add your favourite nuts, raisins, linseeds and any fruits you like – both fresh and dried. It’s nutritious, it’s tasty and it’s so easy to make!

OATMEAL TART WITH GREEN APPLES AND PEANUTS

                                                                Ingredients (for 8-10 servings)

250g oat flakes

2 eggs

1 cup of warm milk

2 tbsp sugar (add more sugar or chopped chocolate if you want it sweeter)

2 tbsp honey

2 tbsp raisins

1 green apple, diced

handful of peanuts, roughly chopped

Recipe

Whisk the eggs with sugar and honey. Combine oat flakes with warm milk, add the egg mixture, raisins, peanuts and apples. Stir with a spoon to combine all the ingredients and transfer to a spring form. Bake for 15-18 minutes in 180°C. Let it cool before serving.

This tart tastes delicious with a cup of milk as a breakfast or with a scoop of ice cream (like honey lavender ice cream) as a dessert 🙂 Enjoy!
